Homegrown and Homemade Produce at Riverside House Newport
We are proud to say that we grow and produce a lot of our own food at Riverside House. We love to share our fresh fruit and vegetables with our guests and delight in seeing them enjoy the fruits of our labour. Pun intended!
John is a keen baker and always has fresh breads in the oven for breakfast. His regular bakes include Traditional Brown Irish Soda Bread, Farmhouse White and what has become the house favourite; Spotted Dog. Simply delicious even if we do say ourselves and thankfully our guests all agree.
What our guests have to say
On arrival we were warmly greeted by Erica and John. Our spacious en suite room was spotless with beautiful views of the river and well kept gardens. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from and served in the conservatory with John’s delicious home made bread and scones. There was also home made jams and chutneys and Erica was really attentive – making sure we had our tea the way we like it! We were given plenty of tips on what to see and do in the area and made to feel very at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again! – Susan
