Ballycroy National Park

The Wild Nephin National Park was established in 1998.  It is Ireland’s 6th National Park and it comprises over 15,000 hectares of Atlantic blanket bog and mountainous terrain covering a vast uninhabited and unspoilt wilderness dominated by the Nephin Beg Mountain Range.

The visitor centre is most informative of the flora and fauna in the park with interactive exhibitions and experienced guides to answer all your questions.

The Ginger and Wild Café serves up a tasty fare amongst the contemporary art hanging on the walls.
