Riverside House is a 200 year old Georgian building on the banks of the Black Oak River in Newport, County Mayo. It has unspoilt views of the river and is a stone's throw from the village where you'll find various local amenities including restaurants and pubs only a 5 minute walk away.

In this 200 year old house where original features are enjoyed with random rubble walls and exposed beams the modern comforts of today are included with espresso machines to eco toiletries. Riverside House have 4 rooms to choose from and can suit couples on a getaway or a family holiday break, every room has its unique décor style.
Traditional – Glamping – Converted
The Blue and Green rooms are our traditional rooms situated in the West Wing of the house on the first floor.
The converted Stables are part of the entrance courtyard attached to the house on the ground floor.
The Shepherd’s Hut is our glamping experience. Situated on the bank of the Black Oak River with a short dash to the house and a couple of steps to climb.

We love sharing our own fresh produce with our guests. Fruits and vegetables from our garden and home baked Irish Soda Bread and fruit scones. What we can't make ourselves we source from the high quality Irish suppliers. We are food lovers!
